Our workshop

Built in our own workshop.

Most of what goes into a Padmodya home is made by us, not bought in. Wardrobes, modular kitchens, storage and finishes are cut, edge-banded, assembled and finished on our own floor, then installed on site by the same team that built them.

Why we keep it in-house

One team, from the drawing to the installation.

When production is outsourced, quality depends on someone else's floor and someone else's schedule. Keeping it in-house means we set the standard, we catch problems before they reach your home, and we can make a change without renegotiating it with a third party. It is also why the person who designed your unit can walk over and check how it is being built.

Drawing to doorstep

01

Cutting & sizing

Boards are squared and cut down to the sizes on the approved drawing, so every carcass starts from an accurate panel rather than an on-site adjustment.

02

Edge banding

Exposed edges are sealed on the machine. This is the join that fails first in humid weather, so it is done properly here instead of being taped up at your site.

03

Assembly & hardware

Carcasses are built up, drilled and fitted with hinges, channels and handles, then checked for square and for smooth operation before anything is wrapped.

04

Finishes

Laminates, veneers, and paint or lacquer finishes are applied and inspected against the sample you signed off, under workshop light rather than site light.

05

Delivery & installation

Finished units are wrapped, delivered and installed at your home by our own installation team, who close out the snag list before we call the space done.
